Email Access Request
Understanding the Need for Controlled Email Access
In today's digital age, email is a primary communication tool for businesses, but it's also a significant vulnerability. Uncontrolled email access can expose an organization to various security risks, leading to potential data breaches and financial losses.
Our Approach
To mitigate these risks, we have implemented a gated email access policy. All communications with external parties must be pre-established through this request process. This process minimizes spam and the risk of phishing and malware.
Email Communication Standards Compliance Statement
In our commitment to maintaining secure and reliable email communications, our organization adheres to recognized industry standards. This ensures our email practices are robust against fraud and provides a trustworthy communication channel for all stakeholders. Below are the essential standards we comply with:
Sender Policy Framework (SPF): SPF is a security measure to prevent spammers from sending messages on behalf of your domain. It verifies sender IP addresses against a list authorized by the domain owner.
DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM): DKIM adds a digital signature to every email, which helps verify the sender’s identity and ensures that the message hasn’t been tampered with during transit.
Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting, and Conformance (DMARC): DMARC works alongside SPF and DKIM to enhance email security. It allows domain owners to specify how email receivers should handle messages that do not authenticate properly. This helps prevent email spoofing and ensures unauthenticated messages are blocked or quarantined.
We require our partners and clients to comply with these standards. You can use the DMARC Domain Checker tool to verify that your email systems are correctly set up according to SPF, DKIM, and DMARC standards. Adhering to these standards protects email communications against fraud and ensures high integrity and reliability in our interactions.
